All Inclusive campsites available for tent, motor home, truck or 5th wheel campers. An ideal location to come and stay a weekend, a month, or for the entire season. During May - June sites are available by week only and by the day or week from July thru September.

Separation Rapids is family owned and operated business and our staff takes a personal interest in seeing that you enjoy your stay with us. We also own the formerly well known Hook's Separation Lake Lodge, until now a fly-in camp only. Located approximately 7 miles from the camp site via waterway on the English River. Any guest of the campground will be welcome to boat to the main lodge for a delicious homecooked meal at supper time in our spacious dining room. Weekly payment in full at time of reservation - Your cost will be 190.00 per person plus 13.00% HST tax

A $100.00 per person deposit required

* - A surcharge of 50.00 will be added to the regular rate for guests arrival to the campground that have not remitted the required deposit prior to arrival.

Most fishermen are interested in one thing-"A Great Fishery that produces numbers as well as trophies" that's what Separation Lake has come to mean to our repeat guests-conservationists- outdoor enthusiasts & sportsmen over the last 75 years.

This lower portion of the English River has only one lodge and the only drive-to access, controlled and owned by the lodge, thereby eliminating over fishing and providing the ultimate wilderness trip of a lifetime at the very best value available.

All of our guests, plus the locals, say the west portion of the English River System, preferably Separation Lake in Ontario, is the best camp and fishery they have found.

At Separation Lake the fishing is not sporadic. It's very good to excellent during the entire season - May 15th to Oct. 1st. We are not bragging: this statement is factual or we would not say it. This is a fantastic fishery, loaded with walleye, northern and bass. And, the scenery is fantastic.

We fish shallow, 5 to 15 feet 99 percent of the season. Our water system has enough under current and weedy oxygen filled bays to maintain shallow water fishing even through July and August, when other fisheries seem to completely shut down or have to fish 60 or 80 feet deep.

Separation boasts of its excellent fishing waters. The lake has produced many 10 pound plus walleye and one of our guests took a Field & Stream prize with his 35 pound northern pike, the largest being 42 pounds in 1986. The smallmouth bass fishing is among the best to be found-many wall hangers are caught each year.

The hunting is excellent for mallard, blue bill, golden eye, wood duck, teal and Canada geese, we also have a good ruffled grouse population.

we are the only camp hunting moose in this area, thereby offering you excellent trophy racks. Our season opens in mid-September, at the peak of our rutting season.

Both archery and rifle hunts from tree stands over pre-baited working baits. We have a lot of mature trophy bear in our special leased hunting areas.
